Yichang launches Three Gorges Green Computing Power Platform

Yichang recently launched the Three Gorges Green Computing Power Platform in Dianjun District. Paired with the newly established Kaiyuan Data Foundation and Open-Source Industry Alliance, the platform will create a shared ecosystem for computing, algorithms, and data assets.
The Open Source Industry Alliance, whose members include leading firms such as Lenovo, Dell, JD Cloud and Sugon, and the Kaiyuan Data Foundation will drive AI innovation and industrial applications in Yichang. Additionally, Dianjun has partnered with Lenovo Group and Beijing OpenCSG Technology Co., Ltd. to develop a city-wide advanced intelligence system. This initiative is designed to enhance urban governance and improve the residents’ quality of life.
Leveraging its rich hydropower and data resources, Yichang seeks to develop big data computing capabilities and establish itself as the largest integrated data center cluster in central China.
