Sanxia Airport opens duty-free store

Yichang Sanxia International Airport’s new duty-free store opened this Wednesday. This is now the second duty-free store to open in Hubei province.

Located on the second floor of the departure hall in the T1 international terminal, the store covers 226 square meters. It offers duty-free goods ranging from alcohol, perfume, cosmetics, fashion items, and specialty souvenirs, featuring over 100 renowned domestic and international brands.

The first duty-free store in Central China is operated by Zhuhai Duty-Free Group. Founded in 1980, the group is one of the first state-owned companies approved by the State Council to conduct duty-free sales in China.
 

The store comes with the launch of the "Zhuhai Duty-Free Reservation GO" mini-program, allowing outbound travelers to order ahead online and pick up purchases at the airport before departure.

The airport has plans to collaborate with Zhuhai Duty-Free Group in the future to build a cross-border e-commerce experience center in Yichang, meeting the diverse shopping needs of local people.
