Yichang holds spring job fair

Yichang City held its first large-scale job fair of 2025 on January 13 to kick off its 2025 Spring Employment Action initiative.

The job fair targeted Yichang natives working in other cities returning home for the Chinese New Year. Additionally, an employment assistance program was held at the sideline of the fair at the Yichang Human Resource Industry Park.

Seventy-one companies, including Yichang Brunp, Angel Yeast and Changjiang Machine Technology, offered 5,532 jobs at the fair. The opportunities covered a wide range of industries, including new energy, new materials, advanced chemical industry, intelligent manufacturing, tourism, and advanced services.

The 2025 Spring Employment Action initiative continues through the end of March, providing job seekers with more than 49,000 openings.

This initiative includes 227 online and offline recruitment activities and 259 training sessions for job seeking and business start-ups.
