Yichang’s Culture and Tourism Bureau unveiled four premium winter tourism routes during the launch ceremony for the second Yichang Ice and Snow Season on November 22. These itineraries highlight Yichang's stunning ice and snow landscapes and include other winter attractions, such as hot spring resorts and hearty cuisine, providing a vibrant travel experience for ice and snow enthusiasts.
The first route is designed for families: Bailihuang Ski Resort — Wulingxia Hot Spring — Yuan'an Delicacy. Bailihuang Ski Resort, the closest ski resort to the city, caters to visitors of all ages. After skiing, guests can relax in the Wulingxia Hot Springs before heading to Yuan'an to enjoy local delicacies.

Located in Zigui, the Qu Yuan Hometown International Ski Resort opened last year and is ideal for skiing beginners. After skiing, visitors can explore the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest water conservancy project, and then enjoy local dishes cooked in casseroles.

The third route is Wufeng International Ski Resort — Qinglin Mingzhu Hot Springs — Three Gorges Eternal Love musical. Wufeng International Ski Resort features six slopes of varying difficulty and a 20,000-square-meter snow amusement park. Visitors can then relax at Qinglin Mingzhu Hot Spring before enjoying a spectacular performance at the Three Gorges Eternal Love musical.
The fourth route caters to professional skiers and enthusiasts: Three Gorges Yunxigu International Ski Resort — Shuangquanzhai Hot Springs — Xingshan delicacy. This resort boasts Yichang's first terrain park with an advanced slope and has hosted numerous winter sports events. After skiing, visitors can unwind at Shuangquanzhai Hot Springs before sampling the popular delicacies of Xingshan.
