Yichang ice and snow season kicks off

The ice and snow season is underway in Yichang. This Friday, the city’s Culture and Tourism Bureau held a winter tourism promotional event showcasing the various winter activities available to visitors in Yichang.
During the event, four winter tourism routes were introduced, featuring the city’s renowned ski resorts, hot springs and seasonal delicacies. Additionally, local travel agencies signed collaboration agreements with partners from Wuhan.
This year’s event will feature various activities, including a skiing competition, a ski and hot springs discount month, and a youth skiing winter camp, catering to several different interests and age groups.
The season is set to run until February 2025. Visitors are encouraged to join in the fun by sharing photos and videos under the event hashtags on Chinese social media platforms like Douyin and Xiaohongshu.
