New city landmark opens to public

The Three Gorges Cruise Center Yacht Club opened to the public on November 2. 
 

The building, with a silver-gray yacht-like exterior, has become a new landmark in Yichang.
 

The yacht club is one of the main buildings at the Three Gorges Cruise Center, which consists of an international cruise terminal, tourism plaza, and residential area.
 

With a total area of 1 million square meters and an investment of 6 billion yuan (US$844 million), the center is expected to serve 3 to 5 million visitors annually.
 

Additionally, once complete, it will serve as an entertainment venue for Yichang City and tourist center and transportation hub for the Three Gorges tours.
