The steel roof of the Yichang North Station building was successfully completed on October 31, marking the project's official transition into the stages of curtain wall construction and interior decoration.

The steel roof truss, weighing approximately 5,200 tons, was precisely assembled using multi-point hydraulic lifting technology, achieving an installation accuracy within a margin of error of just 2 millimeters.

Yichang North Station is a critical hub on the Wuhan to Yichang section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway, covering a total area of 173,300 square meters, with the station building itself occupying nearly 80,000 square meters.

Currently, the concrete structure of the station building, the main structure of the canopy, and the bottom plate of the metal roof have been completed. The project will continue to advance metal roof construction, glass curtain wall installation, and interior decoration to ensure official delivery and operation by September 30, 2024.
