Yichang’s leading state-owned chemical company has activated a rooftop solar power system at a subsidiary factory to produce its own green electricity.

On October 16, a 0.9 MWp rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project at Hubei Yihua New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was connected to the public power grid.

As of October 20, the project has generated 5,123 kWh of electricity. The system is expected to generate approximately 20 million kWh over the next 25 years, with an anticipated output of 910,000 kWh in its first year.
