The scenic beauty of the Three Gorges region continues to attract tourists, with the unique experiences referred to as "boats taking elevators" and "water levels rising with the ships" gaining popularity. Premium cruise routes, including long-distance cruises and the "Two Dams and One Gorge All-Area Tour," have increased substantially in passenger volume, rising by 25.08 percent year-on-year during this period.

The vibrant activity in the dam's channel has further enhanced shipping benefits along this crucial waterway. In total, there were 333 lock operations at the Three Gorges Hub during the holiday, enabling 947 vessel passages and handling 3.262 million tons of cargo. This included a key supply of 764,000 tons of thermal coal, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.33 percent.
