100,000 passengers carried by Yichang Railway on National Day

On October 1, the first day of the National Day holiday, ten passenger stations on the Yichang section of the Wuhan Railway carried a total of 99,000 passengers, including 53,000 from Yichang East Railway Station.
Capacity and operating times were increased on popular routes, including Wuhan-Yichang and Yichang-Wanzhou. A total of 278 trains were operated, including 21 additional temporary trains. During peak hours, the shortest departure time from YichangDong Railway Station is just five minutes.
Yichang East Railway Station has established a new meeting point for travelers and offers flexible channels for ticket sales and security checks.
Passenger flow is expected to peak on October 7, the last day of the holiday.
