During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, Yichang's scenic spots hosted themed activities aimed at boosting cultural tourism and enhancing consumption. At Sanxia Romance Park on September 17, a fire carnival featuring vlogger Jiang Qianxun performing Datiehua drew 34,000 visitors and generated 4.25 million yuan (US$600,414) in tourism revenue.
The Three Gorges Cultural Tourism Group introduced four festival routes that combined urban landscapes, natural scenery, leisure activities, and night experiences to enrich visitor engagement. Many attractions offered free or discounted promotions throughout the holiday.
Visitors who could recite "Prelude to Water Melody" received free admission to the Hometown of Qu Yuan Tourist Area. Tourists dressed in Hanfu were also granted free access to locations such as the Qing River Gallery Scenic Area and Bailihuang Scenic Area.
Rural tourism thrived in Caobuhu Town, Dangyang, attracting over 2,000 visitors with activities including reading, coffee sipping, pottery-making, and baking.
Yichang East Railway Station recorded 285,000 passengers during the holiday, peaking at 71,100 on Mid-Autumn Festival day. Yichang Sanxia International Airport served 21,900 passengers, including 1,100 international travelers heading to cities like Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Xi'an.
