Angela Zhang's concert shines in Yichang's record year

Angela Zhang performed her 2024 World Tour concert in Yichang, China, at the Yichang Olympic Center on the evening of September 7.

By the afternoon, fans had formed long queues outside the venue. The waiting area included photo walls, fan gifts, free hair braiding services, karaoke games, and a Yichang local product sale market.

The concert commenced at 7 pm with the melody of "All From Me," filling the venue with a vibrant ocean of glow sticks.

Zhang frequently engaged with the audience, declaring "Every moment with you is precious," heightening the atmosphere. During the concert, she showcased iconic songs such as "Walking in the Rain," "Aurora," and "Flower in the Wonderland." The song "Invisible Wings" particularly ignited a massive sing-along.

This year, Yichang has had the most number of performances in its history, with large-scale cultural and tourism events gaining popularity, ranking the second most in Hubei Province next only to Wuhan. Notable events include Maksim's classical crossover piano concert on May 25, the Treasured Voice concert on June 26, the Three Gorges Eternal Love premiere on July 13, and Miriam Yeung's concert on August 10.

Looking ahead, Yichang will host the 2024 Jeff Chang World Tour on October 6 and Richie Jen's 2024 Yichang Tour on October 26.
