The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation convenes in Beijing until September 6. It is also a good time to reflect on Yichang’s link with this continent.

Yichang’s cooperation with Africa dates back to the early 1990s when it undertook national economic aid projects in Africa, including an agricultural technology cooperation project in Guinea-Bissau.
