Yidu Mandarin's brand value soars to nearly 5 billion yuan

The Yidu Mandarin’s brand value has increased by 661 million yuan (US$92.78 million) since 2022, now reaching 4.91 billion yuan, according to the latest evaluation report announced at the Ninth China Fruit Industry Brand Conference held in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province.

The China Fruit Industry Brand Conference is a nationwide event organized by the China Fruit Marketing Association. The conference, held nine times since 2008, focuses on quality and brand development, showcasing and promoting high-quality brands.
During this year's conference, a brand value report was jointly released by the China Fruit Marketing Association and the research center of China Academy for Rural Development at Zhejiang University. This report is based on long-term consumer surveys and extensive data collection and analysis, making it highly authoritative and valuable for reference.
Yidu is a county-level city under the administration of Yichang City. It is renowned as the "Hometown of Mandarins in China.”

The Yidu Mandarin was recognized as an agricultural product with a national geographical indication in 2008. The mandarin planting area in Yidu currently covers 300,000 mu (20,000 hectares), with an annual output stable at 650,000 tons. The total output value of the Mandarin industry chain exceeds 10 billion yuan.
Now, fresh Yidu Mandarins are exported to different countries and regions such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Canada and Southeast Asia, while processed products reach markets in the United States, Japan and the European Union.
