This maintenance is crucial for enhancing performance and ensuring safe and efficient operation of the ship lift. It has 50 projects across seven categories, such as hydraulic machinery and electrical systems.
Involving 300 personnel, the maintenance will take an estimated 35 days. Before resuming operations at 8 am on September 29, vessels can pass through the double-line five-tier Three Gorges ship lock.
