Discovering the sparkle: lab-grown diamonds shine in Yichang

Do you know about lab-grown diamonds? How are they created? Are they the same as natural ones? Sisi and her friend Max visited Zhongjing Diamond in Yichang, a leading producer, to learn about the production process and turn their diamond dreams into reality.
Zhongjing Diamond Co., Ltd. was founded in January 2018 in Yiling District. It specializes in research and development, production, sales and service of superhard materials such as lab-grown and industrial diamonds.
It is one of a handful of manufacturers in China that can stably mass-produce 0.5-6.0 carat colorless lab-grown diamonds. Zhongjing Diamond is also the only lab-grown diamond maker using HPHT (high pressure and high temperature) in Hubei province.
Since July 2023, the company has exported 2.14 million carats of lab-grown diamond products to various foreign markets, primarily in India, South Korea, Germany and Mexico.
