The curtain rose on the musical "Green Dragon Crescent Blade" at Guangong Culture Town in Dangyang City on July 2.
The 75-minute musical tells the legendary stories of Guan Yu, a military general from the Three Kingdoms period (220 - 280). It comes as part of Dangyang's efforts to increase their output of performing arts products as a city with rich cultural and historical heritage and develop further as a cultural tourism destination.
