Track laying begins at Yichang-Xingshan Railway

The track-laying process for the Yichang-Xingshan Railway began on June 30. The 108-kilometer-long railway will link Yichang’s downtown area with Xingshan County, connecting it to the Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway.
On completion, travel time between Yichang and Xingshan will be reduced to just around 20 minutes and time between Yichang and Chongqing will be cut to less than three hours.
