Three Gorges Reservoir Increases Outflow to Manage Upcoming Floods

The Three Gorges Reservoir has started increasing its outflow since June 25 to make room for expected heavy rainfall over the next 10 days. Forecasts show that the middle and lower parts of the Yangtze River will soon face a concentrated period of heavy rain.
