The Hubei Three Gorges Resettlement Museum opened to the public this Tuesday.

The Hubei Three Gorges Resettlement Museum, located opposite the Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River, is the first provincial-level museum in Hubei dedicated to this theme. It showcases the natural beauty of the Three Gorges as its backdrop and highlights the region's rich historical and cultural heritage.

Opened in 2018, the Chongqing Three Gorges Immigrants Memorial is China's first museum dedicated to commemorating this distinctive chapter of history.

The Three Gorges Resettlement Museum, housing nearly 10,000 pieces and collections, displays the historical changes of the Three Gorges resettlement. It is divided into three sections representing different historical phases: pre-resettlement, during resettlement, and post-resettlement. Each section offers an immersive experience, enhancing visitors' understanding of the achievements in that specific period.
