Yichang has gradually increased the number of children's activity spaces and natural science education spots in parks across the city.
The city has created several different outdoor activity spaces for children, including grass gardens, outdoor sandpits, sliding boards and basketball courts.

Yichang has also added nursing and rest spaces for families, implemented new standards for public toilets and has plans to build 16 new family toilets.
Let children have their say
To build a child-friendly city, the government has also invited children to express their opinions on future projects.
