After beginning operations in June 2019, the Yichang plant took two years and eight months to produce its first 100,000 vehicles, and only one year and four months for the second.
Now only 10 months have passed for the third 100,000 vehicles, indicating a steady acceleration in production.
The plant achieved a sales volume of 36,000 vehicles in the first four months of the year, generating 3.08 billion yuan in revenue, a year-on-year growth of over 31 percent.
