Global battery tech leader sets headquarters in Yichang

China’s largest production base for micro-lithium batteries has recently moved its headquarters to Yichang City.
Power Glory Battery Tech (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., a listed company on the Beijing Stock Exchange, has relocated its headquarters from Shenzhen to Xiaoting District in Yichang City.
Yichang just saw the first publicly traded company to move its headquarters to the city.
Founded in 2004, Power Glory Battery Tech specializes in the technological development of new environmentally friendly and high-performance lithium micro-batteries. Its products, ranging from micro lithium button cells to lithium-ion battery capacitors, are widely used in electronics, smart healthcare and security devices, and the Internet of Things systems.
In 2023, the company exported 60 percent of its products, achieving a sales revenue of 380 million yuan(52.5 million US$). It is the global leader in offering the most comprehensive range of micro-lithium battery products in terms of type, model, and specification.
With the relocation of its registered headquarters to Yichang, the company is set to begin a new round of automation enhancements and upgrades. It has invested nearly 20 million yuan to develop a fully automated high-speed production line that can produce 200 micro-batteries per minute.
