The Yichang North Railway Station has reached a significant milestone in its construction with the completion of its main underground structure. Construction efforts are now pivoting towards the above-ground sections, including platforms and waiting areas, which are currently being vigorously constructed.
The entire project is set to be finished and operational by 2025.
Yichang North Station will feature nine platforms and 20 tracks, spanning a total area of 80,000 square meters. Once completed, it will serve as a major station for both the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway and the Yichang-Xingshan High-Speed Railway.
