Yichang Sanxia Airport has introduced a new international flight route to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. This is the second international route opened by the airport after expanding its aviation port, following the route to Bangkok, Thailand.

An Airbus A320 freighter made the inaugural flight with 132 passengers on board. The flight landed at Yichang Sanxia Airport at 00:03 am on April 3 after a little over 3 hours.
