The essence of spring can be felt at Jinhe Garden Center in Longquan town, Yichang City. Azaleas, Chinese roses, and phalaenopsis in abundance, Jinhe Garden is a key component in the towns thriving floral industry.

There are currently 13 flower enterprises in Longquan Town, covering a total planting area of 1,000 hectares.

Spanning over 40 hectares of land, Jinhe Garden sells more than 300 varieties of flowers, as well as offering hands-on experiences and landscape design services.

As a store manager here, Du Juan's daily work involves selling flowers through livestreaming on the company’s social media platforms.

“During this year’s Spring Festival, sales peaked at 70,000 yuan (US$9,674) in just two hours,” said Du.

The center is an important part of Yichang Jinhe Company, one of the most influential flower enterprises of 2022 in Hubei Province. With an area of 267 hectares, the annual output value has been able to reach 80 million yuan. Over the past 20 years, the company has undertaken over 1,000 landscaping projects in Yichang and neighboring cities.

To adapt to an evolving landscape in the industry, Jinhe Company has set its sights on the home gardening market. Last year, it organized the Most Beautiful Balcony in Yichang competition, attracting roughly 170,000 participants.
