Construction accelerates at Sunwoda project site

The preparation work has accelerated at Sunwoda Dongfeng Yichang power battery base to prepare for its official groundbreaking by the end of this month.
With a total investment of 12 billion yuan (US$1.69 billion), it is the 20th project whose investment is more than 10 billion yuan that Yichang City has attracted so far this year. The power battery base has a designed annual production capacity of 30GWh power battery, and the annual output value is expected to exceed 24 billion yuan after it is completed.
In the first eight months of this year, 65.92GWh power battery has been installed across China, according to the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance.
