First cross-border cash & carry shop opens in Yichang

Yichang’s first cross-border cash & carry shop opened on September 29. Yichang C6 Cross-Border Shop, located at the namesake warehouse in Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, is the first such shop in Hubei Province outside of provincial capital Wuhan and will offer high-quality imported goods from all over the world.

The shop has specific shopping areas for beauty, jewelry, clothing, bags, watches, wine and etc. Each piece of imported goods had been inspected to confirm their sources and placed on open shelves.

Yichang C6 will have more than 3,000 cross-border categories and 15,000 pieces of goods. Consumers can also place orders online through "Yichang C6 Cross-border Shop" (宜昌C6跨境购) mini-program in WeChat, and the goods will be delivered to their addresses the next day.

Yichang C6 offers the policy of "zero import tariff, consumption and value-added tax 30 percent off". Each consumer can purchase no more than 26,000 yuan (US$3,662) from this shop in each calendar year. The value cap for each shopping is 5,000 yuan.
