Dangyang-Yuan'an freight line opening after Spring Festival

With work on Yuan'an Station 90 percent complete, the Dangyang-Yuan'an freight line is expected to start operating after Spring Festival.
Almost all the work on rail bridges, tunnels and roadbeds has been completed, with workers switching their attention to track laying, station buildings and related engineering tasks.
The 60km railway, which connects Dangyang City with Yuan'an County, will be used to transport phosphate deposits across northwest Hubei province. It will give a timely boost toareas along the line.
