Yichang rescue team rushes to the scene in Gansu

The Yichang Blue Sky rescue team is on its way to Gansu where a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck the northwest province this past Monday.
The quake is reportedly responsible for 113 deaths in Gansu as well as an additional 18 in its neighboring Qinghai province.
At 0:50 a.m. on Wednesday, the Yichang Blue Sky Rescue Team assembled 11 people, all with extensive experience in disaster relief, for the Gansu rescue operation. They loaded three vehicles with professional rescue tools and relief goods.
"We are expected to arrive in Gansu in about 16 hoursand will start rescue work immediately," said Jiang Xing, leader of the team.
