Yangtze River’s longest riverfront passenger ship launches in Yichang

"Chang Jiang Zhi Lian,” the longest catamaran riverfront passenger ship in the Yangtze River, was launched on November 18 at Zigui, Yichang.
The cruise ship is 95.7 meters long, 19.6 meters wide and has a capacity of 1,000 passengers. Construction of the cruise ship began in July 2022.
The luxury cruise ship designed for sightseeing, weddings, conferences and other functions, will mainly operate the riverside city route in Nanjing, Jiangsu province.
Installed onboard is the first nautical science simulation driving equipment for passenger ships in China. It also adopts a DC inverter air-conditioning system, a waste heat recovery and reuse system for the main engine, and has a marine ARPA (automatic radar plotting aid) radar which can calculate a tracked object's course, speed and closest point of approach.
The "Chang Jiang Zhi Lian" cruise ship was invested and built by Nanjing Changjiangxing Cruise Co., Ltd., which was jointly organized by Three Gorges Tourism Group, Nanjing Tourism Group, and Nanjing big lifting transportation group Co., Ltd.
