Foreign tourists back after pandemic

On October 13, the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Area welcomed a large group of over 100 foreign tourists, including many Chinese Americans and Europeans, the first big group of foreign visitors to the area since the pandemic.
"This is an engineering marvel filled with wisdom, very impressive. This trip has given us a great experience!" exclaimed a couple from Spain excitedly at the River Closure Memorial Park located in the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Area.
As inbound tourism recovers, nearly 3,000 foreign tourists have booked trips with various Yangtze River cruise companies such as Changjiang Cruises, Century Cruises, and Yangtze Gold Cruises. They will visit attractions along the Yangtze River and in the Three Gorges Area. Among them are 600 North Americans, a larger number than for the same period pre-pandemic.
