A mountain bike race with a difference took place on October 15 in Fenghuang.

The circuit is 14 kilometers long, with some cyclists doing two laps and some three laps.

The event, which attracted more than 230 participants from all over the country, was divided into three sections: Women completed two laps, i.e. 28km, Men (36-60 yo) also completed two laps, while Young Men (18-36 yo) completed three laps, i.e. 42 km.

Xie Cuifeng from Zhejiang was first past the post in the Women's 28-kilometer race with a time of 1 hour 4 minutes, Chen Xiangyuan from Hunan won the Men's 28-kilometer race with a time of 56 minutes 55 seconds and Guo Xinwei from Guangdong took the laurels in the Men's 42-kilometer race with a time of 1 hour 22 minutes.

Fenghuang Mountain, where the event was held, has a beautiful natural environment. There are more than 60,000 mu (4,000 hectares) of citrus fruit, making it the largest citrus base in Dangyang City. The race passes through orange groves and is much appreciated by cyclists.
