In the wake of the recent heavy rainfall in the Yangtze River Basin, the inflow into the Three Gorges Reservoir has surged, leading to a significant increase in the dam's discharge. According to data from the China Three Gorges Corporation(CTG), at 2:15 AM on Tuesday, the total output of the Three Gorges Dam reached an impressive 22.5 million kW, marking the first full-load operation for 2023.
Operating at full capacity, the Three Gorges Power Station produces an impressive average of 540 million kWh of electricity daily. This green energy is supplied to various regions of China, and is currently providing crucial support for the 19th Asian Games power supply guarantee.
