First Yichang produced advanced submarine cable sets off for Shandong

The first ultra-high-voltage photoelectric composite submarine cable produced by Yichang Qifan Cable Company was loaded onto a ship this past weekend. The 28.5-kilometer, nearly 4,000-ton cable is the first product of its kind produced in Hubei province. The cable will be transported to the east coast of China for an offshore wind-power project in Shandong.
