Yichang Sanxia Airport expands to international routes

Yichang Sanxia Airport officially expanded on July 13th to include international routes, becoming the second international airport in Hubei province along with Wuhan’s Tianhe Airport.
Fifteen foreign airlines have launched flights to Yichang, and the route network reaches six countries: Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Cambodia.

Fifteen foreign airlines have launched flights to Yichang, and the route network reaches six countries: Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Cambodia.
The airport is expected to safeguard an annual international passenger throughput of more than 500,000.
Meanwhile, the airport continues to operate routes to 69 cities in China.
Yichang Sanxia Airport was built in 1996 and the renovation of its T1 International Terminal ran from July 2022 until its recent completion.
