Dangyang links Three Kingdoms history with e-sports and animation

Dangyang, which is the birthplace of the famous general Guan Yu, has a long history and deep connection with the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history.

Dangyang is using its history to attract more tourists. The first eSports and animation carnival aimed to showcase some of the city's unique characteristics.

The event featured a variety of activities, including the "Honor Of Kings" peak showdown, the "Dreams of the Three Kingdoms" animation exhibition, and the "Rising Winds and Clouds, Dreams of the Three Kingdoms" large-scale themed script game. These activities for eSports and animation enthusiasts also provided an opportunity for visitors to learn about the history of the Three Kingdoms period.

The venue was designed with the history of the Three Kingdoms period in mind. Professional make-up artists provided visitors with Hanfu costumes. The "Dreams of the Three Kingdoms" animation exhibition featured a large number of peripheral booths, and the rich stage activities such as national style catwalks and cosplay competitions allowed visitors to immerse themselves in Three Kingdoms culture.

In the "Rising Winds and Clouds, Dreams of the Three Kingdoms" large-scale themed script game, checkpoints were set up for participants in the four small courtyards of Guan Gong Cultural Town.

The first eSports and animation carnival in Dangyang, "Dreams of the Three Kingdoms", not only provided a platform for animation and eSports enthusiasts to showcase and exchange ideas but also helped to promote the city's unique culture and history.
