Yichang sales pick up during Dragon Boat Festival

Yichang City saw an uptick in consumption during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday from June 21 to 23, according to the city’s commerce bureau. The top 10 commercial complexes in Yichang notched up sales of 61.6 million yuan (US$8.52 million), an increase of more than 9 percent over the same period in 2022.
Commercial complexes such as the International Trade Building, Wanda Plaza, Wuyue Plaza, and Sanxia Global Harbor all launched Dragon Boat Festival-related promotion activities. Shoppers and visitors to the city were offered new shopping scenarios, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, singing and dancing performances, and Hanfu parades.
