The visit, organized by the Yuan’an County Commerce Bureau, led the Yuan’an delegation to top-flight economic and trade promotion agencies, including the Asia Pacific Outstanding Entrepreneurs Association and the Representative Office of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Singapore, as well as firms and industrial parks.
The Yuan’an companies, who process edible mushrooms, mainly export shiitake mushrooms, black fungus and morel mushrooms. They took part in THAITEX--WORLD OF FOOD ASIA event in Bangkok, a major B2B food industry exhibition.
"One face-to-face meeting is better than a thousand emails. I never knew so many foreign clients had been paying attention to our products!" said Liu Zhongli, head of Yichang Tai Sheng Yuan Ecological Agriculture.
Yichang Tai Sheng Yuan’s products proved popular with visitors. The company is now in advanced discussions with five potential new clients and has signed orders worth nearly 30 million yuan.
